The Terrain
The Lodge is situated on a 50 acre block of mainly native bush extending from a ridge down to the river valley below. We regularly hunt wild goats and pigs as well as possums, rats, stoats, magpies and mynas. Basically, anything that threatens our native birds and forest is in our sights!
Coming Events 24 June sees the official start of Matariki, signifying the dawn of the Maori New Year. This constellation is also known as The Pleiadies, the Seven Sisters and Subaru.
