The Lodge provides a serene base from which to explore the beauty, history and culture of the Hokianga and Bay of Islands. The Lodge is only 75 minutes from Waitangi, Paihia and Kerikeri, making this a handy day excursion.

The Terrain
The Lodge is situated on a 50 acre block of mainly native bush extending from a ridge down to the river valley below. We regularly hunt wild goats and pigs as well as possums, rats, stoats, magpies and mynas. - anything that threatens the native birds and forest.
At night you will enjoy having no neighbours and no lights! Explore the adjacent creek for glowworms and marvel at the night sky with the binoculars and sky chart.

Eccentric pianist, amazing guitar and vocals. You are invited to a 'garden picnic' afternoon concert by this stunning, internationally acclaimed duo. At the "soundgarden", 1262 Paponga Rd Kohukohu, 2:30pm $10-$5. BYO food and refreshments, BBQ available, bring sun umbrella, rug etc., all weather venue, supported by North Hokianga Community Arts Council. Details: Bruce or Lea 09 4055887 or 09 4055843.

Gates open daily 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. The Northland Field Days is the 'Friendly Field Days' with recent surveys indicating that 94% of visitors expressing their wish to return the following year. Live entertainment,Competitions: logger sports, tractor pull. Daily demonstrations: cutting horses; dog trials. Attractions: mini go carts; helicopter rides;- fun for all the family to enjoy. Visit our Market Area choose from a wide selection of food and beverages or have a well deserved rest in our seated picnic area. Website: www.northlandfielddays.co.nz
